Get Ready To Compete!

IIUM Robotic Competition (IRC) is a yearly international level robotics competition organized by IIUM Roboteam and Makers@IIUM of the International Islamic University Malaysia.

The competition aims to provide a platform for primary and secondary school students to showcase their robotics skills and foster a sense of unity and competition among participants.

IRC 2024 will be held on July 27 & 28, 2024 at the IIUM Cultural Centre (ICC) of the International Islamic University Malaysia Gombak Campus.

Soccer Robot Logo

Soccer Robot

Two teams will compete with each other to score a ball into the goal with a maximum of two robots in each team. Teams that scores the most goals will be declared the winner. Robots have to be mamually operated using a wireless controller.

Sumo Logo

Autonomous Sumo

Two robots will compete to force each other out of the ring. The robot that remains in the ring will be declared the winner. Robot handlers are allowed to start the robot with the press of a single button.

Time-Rush Logo

Time Rush

Participants are required to build a robust robot that can follow the track line autonomously. The robot must complete the track in the shortest time possible.

Teams must design and build a remote controlled Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV). The challenge involves picking up and delivering objects (one at a time) from the Object Area to the Starting area of the pool.

Drone Logo

Autonomous Drone

A drone must complete several obstacle courses autonomously in the minimal possible time. The drone is operated through a sequence of obstacles designed by the organizer and land safely in the designated area.

Creative-SDG Logos

Creative SDG

Participants will have to share their ideas through an innovative robotic project on how to solve various problems related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) creatively.
